A case of fibroepithelial polyp on vulvoperineal area is described. Her age is 20 year old and the tumor measured 9 cm in its largest diameter and was connected to the left labium majus. This case is very unusual in that almost all reported vulvar fibroepithelial polyps are small and sessile, and should distinguish from malignant cancer. We have experienced an unusually large vulvoperineal mass that was surgically excised and histologically diagnosed as benign fibroepithelial polyp and present this case with a brief review of literature.

Korean Journal of Anatomy 2003;36(6):499-506
It was known that lateral view of caucasian's face is projected roundly, however, that of Asian's face is flat relatively. The aim of this study was to investigate the facial depths of Korean and to find the existence of the difference with Caucasian. We used the standardized photographs of 852 individuals (559 men, 293 women) of Korean young adults between 20~39 years old and measured items using image analyzer. Measurement items were five anterior-posterior lengths between points from tragion to sellion, pronasale, subnasale, stomion, and gnathion. The facial depth of the Korean showed no significant difference based on laterality. Items such as tragion-sellion length, tragion-pronasale length, and tragion-subnasale length were showed minor difference according to gender. As results that compared upper, middle, and lower facial depths with caucasian, Korean had generally short facial depths. The lateral shape of face of Korean showed relatively flat, because the lower facial depth was longest due to projection of mandibular part especially.

Unilateral acute idiopathic maculopathy is a rare, self limiting disorder that affects healthy young adults with sudden, severe loss of central vision. We diagnosed bilateral acute idiopathic maculopathy in a 17-year-old man who experienced sudden, rapidly progressive central visual loss following a flu-like illness and report this case with a review of the literatures.

7.Neurilemmoma: A Dome-lesion on the Palm.
Korean Journal of Dermatology 1998;36(6):1101-1102
We report a solitary neurilemmoma on the left palm that occured in a 19-year-old man. The mass was a 1 * 1.2 * 0.7cm sized dome which was located between the thenar and hypothenar on the left palm. A biopsy specimen showed histological findings consistent with neurilemmoma:circumscribed nuclear palisading with Verocay bodies.

8.Desmoplastic Trichoepithelioma.
Korean Journal of Dermatology 1986;24(4):547-549
We present a case of desmoplastic trichoepithelioma in a 21-year-old woman. She had a asymptomatic hard annular plaque with a raised border and depresaed center on the chin. Histopathological findings showed narrow strands of basaloid cell, keratinous cyst and desmoplastic stroma, the features corresponding to the desmoplaslic trichoepithelioma.

Xanthogranuloma is a benign, fibrohistiocytic lesion that presents as a yellowish, cutaneous papule or nodule. Although the head, neck, and trunk are the most common sites for xanthogranuloma, it can appear at any site on the body. We report a rare solitary xanthogranuloma on the palm of 24-year-old man.

OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the applicability of data obtained from a wearable activity tracker (Fitbit Charge HR) to medical research. This was performed by comparing the wearable activity tracker (Fitbit Charge HR) with actigraphy (Actiwatch 2) for sleep evaluation and circadian rest-activity rhythm measurement. METHODS: Sixteen healthy young adults (female participants, 62.5%; mean age, 22.8 years) wore the Fitbit Charge HR and the Actiwatch 2 on the same wrist; a sleep log was recorded over a 14-day period. We compared the sleep variables and circadian rest-activity rhythm measures with Wilcoxon signed-rank tests and Spearman's correlations. RESULTS: The periods and acrophases of the circadian rest-activity rhythms and the sleep start times did not differ and correlated significantly between the Fitbit Charge HR and the Actiwatch 2. The Fitbit Charge HR tended to overestimate the sleep durations compared with the Actiwatch 2. However, the sleep durations showed high correlation between the two devices for all days. CONCLUSION: We found that the Fitbit Charge HR showed high accuracy in sleep evaluation and circadian rest-activity rhythm measurement when compared with actigraphy for healthy young adults. The results suggest that the Fitbit Charge HR could be applicable on medical research as an alternative tool to actigraphy for sleep evaluation and measurement of the circadian rest-activity rhythm.
